I purchased this, and I think it's fantastic that Digitec had these in stock on launch day; thank you. One issue I had was that the firmware was out of date and would not connect to my iPhone; I got an error stating the firmware was not compatible. I assume this is because these were early release devices and not updated. However, all is not lost. These are the steps I took to upgrade the X4 to firmware 1.06, which fixes the communication issue. 1. Go to the firmware download page https://www.insta360.com/download/insta360-x4 and download the new firmware. 2. Copy the downloaded file (Insta360X4FW.bin) to the root of a microSD card. 3. Insert the microSD card into the X4 and turn it on. The firmware will start updating. Then, follow the instructions on the camera. 4. Once completed, you can connect to your new X4 and activate it. 5. Have fun with your X4. I hope this helps someone.
