I read the questions here carefully but somehow everyone says something different. I have now bought an AM4 Ryzen 7 and don't want to "throw away" my old cooler. Online it says that I have to have such a kit (metallic scissors thing). But this is included in the included in the scope of delivery. Everything is described clearly in the instructions. You only have to adjust the scissors differently, then it will fit AMD without any problems.
