I still don't quite understand why this device should be superior to other devices (also from SatoshiLabs). Why would I prefer this instead of the standard Trezor, could someone explain this to me ?

The Satoshilabs Model T is a super hardware wallet with many functions as already described by Defisales and Hoffmannsandro.

However, I would lean more towards the Ledger Nano S or X because they work with a security chip. While Model one and T secure the private keys on the device memory (with very good open-source software), Ledger secures the private key with a high standard security chip. This has not yet been hacked.

The Model T has a touch display on which the code is entered. This means that the password cannot be read by the computer or by means of software from the computer. For me, this is an important security factor when it comes to money. The layout of the numbers is arranged differently for each query, which also serves security purposes.
I also use the Trezor as a password manager. The data is encrypted and stored on the Google Cloud. The T model has an SD card slot that can be used to store passwords in the future. Unfortunately, this is not yet integrated (as of today: 20.07.2019 Coming soon).

In my opinion, there is not much difference except that you have a nice touch display and you can also confirm a transaction by holding it for a longer time, for example. I can only report that it is very very secure and the transactions are extremely fast (although you can set the fee yourself there anyway). It is simply a more modern version of its predecessor. For the price difference compared to the predecessor, there are no differences worth mentioning. I think you should think long term when buying, because this device will certainly still be useful in 2-3 years.
