I want to upgrade my Macbook Pro 2012 with 4 Gb Ram to 8 GB. Which Ram do I need? 16 GB is too expensive for me

Apple lists the RAM requirements on a support page: https://support.apple.com/de-ch...
If you filter by the criteria, you can see what is available. Apparently 8gb is the maximum. So you only need 1 x 4gb.
