Question about Intenso top performance
I wanted to use this SSD together with the ICY Box IB-183M2 on a USB3.0 port. In my opinion, this should fit together, right? Anyway, Windows recognises the device but can only format 1000MB (i.e. 1GB). What is wrong here? Thanks for your answers.

To answer your question you need to know the volume of the disk you have installed in the ICY Box IB-183M2 on a USB3.0 port!
I have an ICY Box IB-183M2 and the same 512GB M2 SSD and it is recognized without any problem. It is possible that the box is defective...
Check with a partitioning tool (Partition Magic or similar) and probably delete and reformat the existing partition.

I have installed this SSD in another PC and it was recognised perfectly. It seems that the problem is more with the IcyBox. I will look into this further.

Use the disk manager (diskmgmt.msc) to delete all existing partitions on this disk and then reformat it.
If this does not work, you will need to use a software program such as "Easeus partition master" to do this.

If you display the disk management, do you see the whole disk?
