Question about XYZprinting Filament
I was wondering if this filament comes with an NFC chip that is compatible with a XYZprinting DaVinci Mini W+ and how would I be able to tell if other filament comes with a compatible NFC chip?
This filament is compatible and can be used. Not all filaments have a chip, unfortunately, a list does not exist.
For the other printers, you can work with other filaments. For this, you need the Open Smart Tag accessory.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide a preciser answer to the question since the supplier stated that not all filaments have an NFC chip and that they do not know which ones do have.
From our perspective, the only solution would be to check online the manufacturer number of each filament you're interested in to see if the product has an NFC chip.
