Question about Netgear EX7000 Nighthawk

I will be moving into a house with two floors. The UPC connection and router (Horizon Box?) will be on the ground floor in the living room. On the first floor there will be a desktop PC with LAN connection and the rest of the rooms will have to be supplied with WLAN. Could this repeater be used for this? Put it in the office for the desktop (connect it via LAN) and supply the rest of the rooms with WLAN.

I would recommend this Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC-LR access point. I have had good experiences with it and it fits perfectly into the existing network. And if you ever want to expand, you can just buy another one and there will be no problems with them interfering with each other thanks to Masching.
