I would like to connect it to my TV with bluetooth headphones. Is it possible to do this or is it only possible via stereo systems?

No, this is a receiver, not a transmitter. So, for example, you could stream music from your smartphone/tablet to your TV/AVR/HiFi via Bluetooth (if it has an audio-only input).
