Question about Samsung 970 EVO Plus

I would like to install the Samsung 970 EVO Plus in a Mac Pro 2019 using the Sonnet SSD M.2 4x4, NVMe SSD, PCIe card. The SSD seems to be compatible. However, the firmware needs to be updated on a Windows PC before I can use the SSD in a Mac. Can Digitec do this firmware update before shipping. Thank you very much for the answer.

Maybe it helps: the Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB I bought a few days ago already had the latest firmware 2B2QEXM7 on it. I don't know if this is the Mac-compatible version.
