Question about Creative Sound Blaster X3
I would like to know if it is compatible and goes with logitech z-906 5.1 dts and dolby digital? and what kind of optical cable should I buy that is compatible between the two audio systems (speakers and x3 sound card) so that they work properly, both surround sound, dolby and dts, as well as all the 5.1 sound channels that the z-906 is capable of providing?
According to the information we have found, this sound card has problems with Dolby Digital via the optical output on the latest firmware (https://www.reddit.com/r...).
It is therefore recommended to use the original Z906 cables (black, orange, green) to enjoy 5.1.
In general, any optical cable will do for this kind of installation, unless the desired cable length is long.
