I would like to use the adapter as an audio transmitter. The receiver is to be a stereo system which has an approx. 10-year-old Bluetooth system, type unknown. Does anyone know if this works? If necessary: Does anyone know whether this signal can be sent with this device and received with another adapter of the same type? (Circuit: Phones out => CM403 => Bluetooth => CM403 => Aux in)

Helpful answer
The Ugreen CM403 can be used as a transmitter to send audio to a stereo system with a Bluetooth system. However, compatibility depends on the specific Bluetooth version and the supported audio codecs of the stereo system. The CM403 supports the AAC and SBC codecs, which offers a good chance of compatibility.

On the question of whether the signal can be received with another CM403: Yes, this is possible. You can use the CM403 as a transmitter and receive the signal with another CM403 in receiver mode. The circuit "Phones out => CM403 => Bluetooth => CM403 => Aux in" should work, as the CM403 can work both as a transmitter and as a receiver.
