Question about NZXT Kraken Elite 360

I would like to use this AIO in my build, but replace the supplied fans with others. Could I theoretically still install the original fans in the case (e.g. on the bottom where you can't see them) and use them as additional case fans? My question comes from the fact that this AIO uses a breakout cable and the fans have special NZXT connections for fan speed, RGB, etc.

Yes, you can easily replace the supplied fans with others and use the original ones as case fans. The NZXT fans can be connected via the breakout cable or a separate NZXT controller, if available. Make sure that the new fans are compatible and that the cooling performance is not impaired.

For the original fans at the bottom of the case:
- Connection options: The NZXT fans require special connections for RGB and speed control. Use either the breakout cable of the AIO (if connections are free) or a separate NZXT fan controller.
- Compatibility: Control via NZXT CAM software only works if the fans are connected to NZXT hardware.
- Practical tip: Make sure that the additional fans do not overload the power supply, especially if several RGB components are in use.

If you are unsure, test the configuration before final installation and check the temperatures under load.
