If my headset only has a 3.5mm jack, can I still use the microphone with this card?

Yes the board has an extra headphone jack: 1 optical TOSLINK output, 1 x 3.5mm Mic In/Line In, 1 x 3.5mm Headphone/Headset Out, 1 x 3.5mm Front Out, 1 x 3.5mm Rear Out, 1 x 3.5mm Center/Sub Out
