If the company is unable to ship the goods by the specified date, isn't it unfair or irresponsible to say that you will get your money back or wait indefinitely?

I'm in the same situation. Worse, I bought intel CPU based on that RAM, and I'm not sure when it will be delivered either, if it will ever be.
