Important note: The board has one 6-pin and two 8-pin PCI-E power sockets. Apparently the card does NOT start if only the two 8-pin sockets are supplied with power! (Although the RGB lights shine nicely, the mainboard does not recognise any card in the slot!) I have now connected power to all 3 sockets and now it starts correctly and everything runs like clockwork. As far as I have seen, this is not mentioned in any of the manuals supplied and I tried around for quite a long time until I found the error by chance.
Thanks for the info.
Another question: Do you have the card from digitec? Unfortunately, the delivery time is currently stated as 3 months :/ . Otherwise it doesn't seem to be available in Switzerland.
Thanks for the info!
oh yes, the card has 3 power connections... but i only plug in 2 and wonder why it doesn't work... why don't we just leave out the 24pin connector on the mainboard and use only the 8pin for the cpu... that will surely work too... This is not in any manual because one assumes clear common sense *facepalm*.
