In principle, the packaging is OK. However, the processor itself is not even in a plastic cover! You have to open the box very carefully and make sure that the legs do not get caught in the foam of the packaging. Otherwise you are the fool and the CPU is scrap. AMD's usual plastic packaging for the Ryzen CPUs would be the minimum here! Otherwise I am satisfied. The CPU does its job.
I would not accept the CPU as it is and send it back. It's not just about the pins, but also about electrostatically flawless packaging. No one can tell me that someone who sends CPUs in this way has attended a basic course and was properly earthed when handling and packing the CPU...
