Is it possible that the Sony WF-1000XM5 headphones do not work with a Samsung TV QE55QN90B? The connection can be established, but no sound is audible, even after resetting the device.

Check which codec the two devices support. They may not overlap.

Unfortunately, it does not (yet) work on a high-end Sony TV set because of the Swisscom TV box, which cannot receive Bluetooth signals. In spring (2024 ??) the new, Bluetooth-capable TV box should be released...
These buds work perfectly on our new Samsung Galaxy mobile phones, with very good sound!
