Is it possible that this motherboard in conjunction with a PCIe 10gbit/s network adapter cannot achieve the 10 or 8gbit/s? I have everything set up for fibre optics, cable, adapter, router all 10gbit/s, but I can only achieve a maximum of 3gbit/s. Any experience with this? I use this adapter https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/tp-link-tx401-pci-e-x4-netzwerkkarte-14134328

It is possible that the motherboard does not reach the full 10 or 8 Gbit/s in conjunction with a PCIe 10 Gbit/s network adapter. This could be due to the configuration of the PCIe slots or the network adapters themselves. The ASUS ROG Strix X570-E offers several PCIe 4.0 slots that are designed for high data rates, but the actual performance also depends on the specific hardware configuration and the cables used.

To achieve maximum speed, make sure the network adapter is installed in an x4 slot and all cables are connected correctly. If you continue to have problems, it may be helpful to update the network adapter drivers or check the system configuration.
