Question about Sony Ubp-X700
Is it possible to install other streaming services as an app (e.g. Disney plus) on this device or are there other ways to use these streaming services?
Unfortunately, no - at least not until now (and not with me).
But you should be able to mirror the screen via the Miracast function. However, I have no idea how much quality loss this means...
But my recommendation clearly goes in the direction of Apple TV 4K, Amazon Fire Stock (4K), or Chromecast (new 4K variant). It's worth it for Disney, as the streaming quality in terms of picture and sound is sensational.
