Is it possible to transfer the hard disks from my DS410j (4*4 TB) so that my data is preserved?

Yes, sure. Shut down the old server cleanly and disconnect it from the power supply. Remove the 4 hard disks and reinstall them in the new NAS. As long as the hard disks work, no data can be lost.
