Question about Netgear PLW1000

Is it worth buying the Netgear PLW1000-100PES (1000Mbit/s)? I want to use this to connect my PC two rooms away to the internet via an Ethernet cable. I need a fast connection and wanted to know if I can get at least 300Mbps with it, as I am a gamer and need a good ping and internet connection. I've watched a lot of videos and seen that people a few rooms away only get 30Mbps. Is it worth it???

My performance is just 20% of the actual speed. The ping is twice as big. That's enough for me, but if you really need fast bandwidths, you have to lay a cable. In my experience, powerlines always promise much more than they can deliver.

For me, it had too little power over the current. I have now switched to the WLAN repeater (X6) + access point (X6s) from Netgear. It works fine this way, but especially as a gamer, it's better to be connected directly with Ethernet? You can do that with both.

It depends on your installation (length of the power line, everything on the same phase / fuse or not etc). You will certainly only get 1 GB/s in the best case.
I have not measured the data rate. But the ping varies extremely between 5 ms and 40 ms. I think for gaming you will be happier with a direct cat 6 cable connection. However, this is not due to the product, but to the technology of Powerline in general.
