Is the adapter also mini DV video cassettes? Does such a thing even exist? What other options are there for watching Mini DV cassettes on another format (e.g. VHS, mp4)? Thank you very much Kind regards

As already mentioned by Nils8107, the adapter can only be used for analogue films (VHS-C cassettes).

Hi, not possible for miniDV.
Mini DV are digital. VHS analogue. It is best to buy a used miniDV camcorder and then connect it to the PC with Svideo and then record. Have a look on Youtube "MiniDV digitising".
