Hello,
Thank you very much for your request.
If your motherboard has an M.2 slot, you can use this SSD.
To be able to use the full performance of the SSD, the M.2 slot should have PCIe 3.0 with 4 lanes.
If in doubt, please contact the device manufacturer directly.
Best regards from Schwalbach,

This is an SSD and it is no longer a good one, there are much faster models, this one for example would be better and doesn't cost much more, however: they all don't fit in the HP 850 G1, because it doesn't have an NVMe expansion slot for 2280s, but it needs the small M.2 NGFF (B and M Key) SSDs, which are also sometimes called mSATA. The speed they achieve is only just what a normal 2.5 inch SSD could do.

A different key would also have to be chosen, since the space provided for it only fits the smaller 2240 modules, I would install a 2.5 inch SSD instead of such a small SSD.

That would be super suitable:

Crucial BX500 (1000 GB, 2.5")
