Is the >Sata cable so important, i.e. what do I need it for and how do I plug it in? and can a power supply get a Sata plug included?

It needs a power and a sata cable to operate this HD. These are not supplied.

Power should normally be included with the power supply. The Sata cable was included with my mainboard. I did not have to order anything separately.
