Question about WD Red Plus
Is the warranty on the 8TB HDD really only 2 years and not 3 years like the other WD Red Plus HDDs?

I have 3 years from the date of purchase after registering them
A search online says 3 years warranty on all WD Red Plus hard drives.
When querying Western Digitan with the serial number, I am shown "Oct-2027". I bought it in January 2025.
However, I have not registered the drive. As the user epitauxd writes, it should therefore be three years after registration with the date of purchase.
