Is this thing compatible with anything in our country...? So: - Galaxus/Digitec offer - Swisscom - UPC/Sunrise ...otherwise it probably makes no sense - or am I completely on the tube - er wire...? ;-))

You need a compatible transceiver and patch cable. These are best obtained from your internet supplier. This gateway also requires a separate cloud key. (Otherwise choose the UniFi Cloud Gateway Fibre).
You will probably also need to upgrade to a 10Gbit service from your supplier.
