Its not so much a question, more a piece of advice to Digitec - the "TP-Link TL-SG105 (5 Ports)" is not compatible with Swisscom, selling this item in CH, I would expect this to be mentioned! Having said, it cost just 24 so no hard feelings, I will pay better attention next time.

This is a network switch.. what does a specific provider has to do with it? Was that something that Swisscom told you??

Correction, the switch does work when connected to the Swisscom internet-box - however, the Swisscom TV-Box is not compatible. After a few seconds, regardless of the channel, the program freezes and won't start again. As the SG-105 is a plug-and-play device without an IP-address (not manageable), there are no settings that can be changed.

Living in Switzerland, buying from a Swiss company, it would be helpful to know the compatibility of a product, especially for IT amateurs as myself. Did quite some research, apparently not enough - learned my lesson!
