Laptop 20YM has 16 GB soldered directly to the motherboard. Can I still install 32 GB in the existing slot? Or only 16 GB.

According to the information I found at Lenovo, 32 GB would actually be the maximum. However, PHS also states on its website https://www.phs-memory.com/computer-m... that this RAM should still fit (specifically with comparable 8 GB models, so 40 GB is the maximum). However, please pay attention to the exact compatibility list, with the complete manufacturer number (such as 20YM0008BM). I could only access the linked page as a cash version at the moment.
