Dear Digitec Community For my new home, I bought such a mobile hotspot with a cheap unlimited 5G subscription from Sunrise. The speed and latency are both very satisfactory. All in all, an almost perfect and very inexpensive solution for me & my home. However, I do have one problem: I would like to install a Philips Hue Bridge at my place so I can make my home smarter. The problem is that the router doesn't have an Ethernet port, only a USB-A and a USB-C port. I already bought a USB-C to RJ45 dongle so I can connect the bridge. That didn't work, so I guess it's because the USB-C port is only for charging. Before I buy another USB-A to Rj45 dongle, I would like to ask you if anyone has found a workaround for the missing Ethernet port on mobile routers. My next steps would be: - Buy a USB-A to Rj45 dongle and try again. - Buy a repeater or something similar so that I can get on via the WLAN and use its Ethernet port to connect my Philips Hue Bridge. Do you have any other ideas or inputs? Thank you very much in advance!
