Question about Dell U3415w
Mega nice monitor with display port connections. My brand new notebook has 1 Thunderbolt 3. The HDMI is too slow, so no alternative. What to do? Looking for solution before buying.

Indeed, beautiful monitor. switched from 24"+22" monitor to this a few minutes ago - My grin is as wide as the monitor....
Why the Dell? - It was available against LG 34UC98-W and I don't need Thunderbolt. My PC currently only supplies DVI - just needs an adapter cable. I assume that future graphics cards will still support DP for some time.
ANSWER TO QUESTION: LG 34UC98-W wait and see... (the UC97 would be less badly available, but has different screen technology).
I think it would be a shame to use adapters for a new purchase when you can already have the perfect interface.
