My DS415+ from 2013 is now broken. I can pull out the discs and put them in the 420+ model without any problems?

That's exactly what I did: 415+ broke down from one day to the next (probably a known hardware fault), bought 420+ => changed disks and simply started it. Everything ran without a problem. Instructions for details are available at Synology.

Yes, I connected it and used the Synology Assistant programme to connect. Then there was a short Migration Wizard. Merci

!as far as I know, the new NAS will reboot the operating system, all data will be deleted! Otherwise, it will work with functioning hard drives.
