My motherboard on the website says that the WD Blue SN580 1TB SSD is compatible. But the 500gb is not included...! is exactly the same apart from the capacity... then the 50gb should also be compatible ?

I bought the 500 and it runs without any problems in my MSI board. The manufacturers usually only specify the last types in a series. So don't worry, it will run.

Don't worry about it at all, just buy and install it. Everything will be fine. The storage capacity doesn't matter. I have installed many SSDs and have experience with them.

Yes, it will certainly work if the 1TB variant is supported.
Didn't even know that mainboards specify compatible SSDs. Seems pretty unnecessary to me.
If the length of the slot is supported (in the description: 2280 = 22mm wide, 80mm long), basically any SSD should work.
As others have written, you can then pay attention to whether it has a pre-installed cooler on either the motherboard or the SSD, but for this one it doesn't matter.

You need to be careful that the disc does not have a built-in cooler, which would increase its thickness and make it impossible to place on the CM. Prefer a disc without a cooler.

Yes, the form format is important. Buy it , it’s a good product
