On the CM page it says that the cooler also comes with mounting accessories for the AM3 socket. Is that not the case with the package here or why is that not stated in the description?

Yes, it is like this. The mounting material can be adapted for LGA 2011 / 1366 / 1150 / 1156 / 775 and AMD FM2+ / FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2. Everything is included, including the contact paste. The cooler is relatively narrow (does not collide with the memory bars) and quiet.

I know the cooler (I think every Builder should know it, the thing is legendary...), that's why I was so confused by the description. First I thought it was a Digitec edition or something, but I guess not. :D
