One of these scarcely available RTX 5080s is available for a small surcharge on Ricardo (buy-it-now price 1990.- / minimum bid 1800.- with a list price in Digitec of 1399.-) I'm probably violating the Community guidelines by posting the link - however, the supplier has also officially written in the article that he officially bought it from Digitec. And this is not meant to be an advert, but a call not to support the purchase of such offers. I don't think it's okay to deliberately buy 2 cards in order to sell one of them at a surcharge of CHF 500 via an exchange platform. Does Digitec cover the warranty in the event of a resale? Or does the buyer then have to go directly to the manufacturer? I think it would be great if Digitec wrote a blog about this. According to https://www.parlament.ch/de/ratsbetrieb/suche-curia-vista/geschaeft?AffairId=20153397, it would be up to Digitec (not us customers) to take action against this (as long as this is reasonably transferable from tickets to graphics cards). Let's hope that such offers remain unused and that availability improves in the coming months.

That's where they ended up!
I was ready to get one at 3pm on launch day,
But they disappeared giving me unavailable 🤪

Yes, there are a few 5080s on Ricardo at the moment but not a single one is being bid on! The 5080 is not worth the money in my opinion! Hopefully the SCalpers will sit on their cards or have to sell them at a loss xD

Various 5000 series graphics cards are listed on Ricardo at inflated prices. I find scalping an absolute absurdity, but unfortunately not everyone has the necessary decency...

It doesn't matter, just don't buy and wait until the cards are back on the shelves like lead in 2-3 months. Then you can even get them a little cheaper again.
