Hello Mese.k, I myself use this Hammer board with an AMD TR 3970X. The board currently supports "only" the TR 3 generation or the Zen 2 architecture and is therefore not backwards compatible with older TR processors. Attention, the socket TR4 is mechanically identical to the sTRX4, but they are electrically controlled differently and are therefore not compatible with older TR generations. If you want to build a new and future-proof PC for a long time, I can highly recommend the TR 3970X in combination with this board -> assuming a good water cooling system.

I hope I was able to help you.
