The device supports multiple RAID configurations including RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID 10, JBOD, single disk mode, and TerraMaster's own TRAID and TRAID+ (a RAID5 variant). However, it does not have hardware RAID support; RAID is managed via software, which may limit cross-platform compatibility. RAID setup requires additional software tools and is mostly done through the host system or TerraMaster's TOS 6 operating system. RAID volumes created this way work well on Windows and Mac OS but may not be accessible on mobile devices. You can also mix RAID and standalone disk configurations within the enclosure. The maximum total capacity supported is up to 32TB using four 8TB NVMe SSDs.
