If you want to integrate a video surveillance system from Ubiquiti, with the V2 you simply have another memory so that you can save recordings. Another advantage of the V2 is that it has a small display so you can see the current status of the system. If you don't need these two things, I would recommend the normal Cloud Key. This does the job if you only want to run the network.

But if Gen2, then definitely the Cloud Key gen2 Plus. The better choice for the small surcharge, at the latest when the first WebCam is due.
