Some comments say it has no headphone jack, as in the description, but a USB-C to 3.5mm jack adapter. Is that the case?

Yes, there is an adapter in the case.
Keep in mind that since the stand is on the one side only, you can turn it upside down. So if you want better angles with the camera, it's not so easy. Not very wide lense, unfortunately. When someone is close to the camera it's okay. But if the tablet is not so close, the angles are not so good. Especially at the bottom, for example when the tablet is on a table and you want to see a kid on its baby-chair.
