Question about Intel Optane 900p Series

Somehow I must be misunderstanding something here. But example: Samsung 970 EVO Plus -> read 3500 MB/s / 600000 IOPS / 1000GB = 185.- Intel Optane 900p Series -> read 2500 MB/s / 550000 IOPS / 280GB = 402.- Therefore, Intel is slower, has much less memory and costs proportionally much more. Can someone explain this to me? Thank you!
