The board seems to have 8-pin ATX 12Vi and 4-pin ATX 12Vi connectors. Do they both have to be connected? Only a few power supplies offer this.

no, the 8-pin connector is sufficient. i had the same question/concern as you, then googled around a bit, and the answer was that the 8-pin is sufficient, which has also proven itself in practice. (the additional 4-pin would only be necessary if you were overclocking extremely and needed effectively higher current & voltage values. in that case, however, a special power supply with all the plugs/connectors would be necessary!)
