The description says "PCI-Express x1" - on my mainboard it says "PCIEX1_1". Is that the same, or does it not match? Visually I would say it is the same slot. And then the USB cable to the mainboard confuses me. I think the connection comes through the PCI Express slot? I don't have USB on the mainboard from 2010 or similar.

Yes, that fits. 1_1 only means that you have more than one slot - this is simply the first of several PCIe x1 slots.

Unfortunately, the USB cable for Bluetooth is not included, which is really weak on ASUS' part. Bluetooth does not work without this cable as it requires a connection to the internal USB header (2.0).
