The device always switches off the Internet after some time (irregularly). The problem occurs with both the notebook (Win 7) and the smartphone (Android). I already have the 2nd device. (1x sent back) My Huawei modem E5770s works perfectly under the same conditions and settings. Who has a suggestion for a solution here?

The E5885LS can be set via its interface (usually 192.168.8.1) as follows: Username = admin / Password = WLAN-Key
Settings > Dial up > Connect > Autodisconnect Interval (min) Here you can set a time-out from 5 to 120 minutes. The unit then cuts the connection, even if a device is connected but there is no communication.
