The device specifications show that a maximum of 500 Mbit/s is passed on in the G-fast standard. However, I am using Swisscom VDSL, which provides me with a measured 400 Mbps. Since there is nothing about VDSL in the technical details, I would like to know whether the 400 Mbit/s are also provided via the DSL line. If the limit in the DSL connection is lower, the device would be a bottleneck.

This device is not going to be an issue, it uses the standard in use by Swisscom which gives a maximum speed of up to 500Mbits in the line (depending on distance). Nothing to do with the performance in your LAN. This is a DSL router only not suitable for other services like FTTH. Hope this helps.
