Question about Creative Sound Blaster AE-5
The microphone doesn't work for me, I'm using a 4 pin 3.5mm plug and I can't get it to work, even though Creative says that a headset with only one plug has to work... Does anyone have any ideas?

The sound card has an output for headphones and an input for a microphone, the easiest thing would probably be to use a splitter like this one.

I did not see that a headset has to work with only one connector, neither in the product description nor in the instruction manual. I therefore assume that both only work on the respective connectors marked for them.
