This adapter also works with an SSD? I have removed my SSD from the desktop and now I want to read the data from it because my Acer Aspire has become very unstable. I discovered that the processor gets too warm, then the system crashes quite often. The SSD was the boot SSD with Linux Ubuntu on it. My laptop also runs Ubuntu. I hope I can read out the data if I change the boot_order in my laptop in the bios to this UBS SSD. Is my reasoning correct?
