What exactly is the difference between the actual RT series cables and the Pro series from Cablemod? Are they both mesh but one series is thicker or is it just visually different (apart from the amount of cables supplied in the box - are they the same or even different cables)? Can't decide whether to buy Pro series or RT series and what to look for (am I missing a cable for a standard PC setup?). Thanks in advance...

Since the power supply manufacturers use different connector types on the power supply side, CableMod also offers different sets.
CableMod currently offers the following series:
- B-Series (be quiet!®)
- C-Series (Corsair®)
- C-Series AXi, HXi & RM (Corsair©)
- C-Series RMi & RMx (Corsair©)
- CM-Series (Cooler Master®)
- SE-Series (Seasonic®)
- ST-Series (SilverStone®)
- E-Series (EVGA©)
- RT-Series (ASUS®)
Before buying, you should therefore check which power supply you need cables for and then select the respective series.
In the respective series, there is a difference between the "Essentials Cable Kit", the "Classic Series" and the "PRO Series". While the "Essential Cable Kit" contains fewer cables in the set (1 x 24 pin ATX, 1 x 4+4 pin EPS, 2 x 6+2 pin PCI-e, 1 x Dual SATA Power, 1 x Dual SATA Power), the "Classic Series" and the "PRO Series" do not differ in the number of cables. and the "PRO Series" do not differ in the number of cables included (1 x 24 pin ATX, 1 x 8 pin EPS, 1 x 4+4 pin EPS, 2 x 8 pin PCI-e, 1 x 6 pin PCI-e, 1 x Quad SATA Power, 1 x Dual SATA Power, 1 x Dual Molex Power).
The main difference here is in the cable combs, which in the "PRO Series" go fully around the following cables (24-pin ATX- 3, 8-pin EPS, 4+4 pin EPS, 8-pin PCI-e, 6-pin PCI-e) and are therefore already pre-assembled. In the "Classic Series", these have to be fitted by hand and only extend halfway around the cables ;)
