What is the difference between "Harmony Ultimate Hub" and "Harmony Hub"? Is "Harmony Hub" simply the new version?

Hi friends,

Since Logitech is once again confusing us with the model names of its hubs, I'll try to clarify this briefly and concisely:

Harmony Hub:
This can only be set up and used via the SmartPhone app. It supports a maximum of 8 devices.

Harmony Ultimate Hub:
This can be used as an extension for a Harmony Touch/Harmony Ultimate One. It supports a maximum of 15 devices.

And then there's the (available in the USA)
Harmony Home Hub Extender:
This is an extension of an existing Harmony Ultimate Hub and adds ZigBee and Z-Wave to the home control.
""""""
Hope it helps. It used to be my problem too. LG HV

I wonder about that too. A first look at the Logitech website didn't reveal any real differences, except a lower price for the Ultimate Hub compared to the "normal" Hub. The technical specifications and functions seem to be the same for both.

Maybe a call to the Logitech hotline will help.
