What is the difference between the G.Fast version without WLAN and the version that has no additional designation? Can both be set to BridgeMode? Actually, I don't need WLAN anyway, BridgeMode would simply be important.

The variant without a designation (10957567) already has BridgeMode preconfigured. The variant "without WLAN" also supports BridgeMode.

Thanks for the tips. I have now gone the route with a TP-Link MC220L and a G.Fast SFP module. So no unnecessary router between the connection and my Unifi USG (which unfortunately doesn't want to understand the SFP module directly).

So G-Fast is simply the fastest connection via copper...far more than 100MB/s, which used to be the maximum without G-Fast. I have about 400 MB/s down with the Zyxel bridge with G-Fast and without WLAN and also in bridge mode.
