What is the difference between this RAM and the HyperX Fury (2x, 8GB, DDR4-2133, DIMM 288)? The manufacturer number is also almost the same, except for a 2. HX421C14FB2K2/16 HX421C14FBK2/16

Hello FutureBoy

Kingston has changed production. However, technically speaking, there is no difference in the RAM. The RAM with the manufacturer number HX421C14FB2K2/16 are from the new production and the old ones will go "EOL".

The two products do have one small difference.
HX421C14FB2K2/16 (old) are single-rank modules.
HX421C14FBK2/16 are dual-rank modules.

The performance differences are very controversial, but many recommend dual-rank RAMs because they are supposed to be faster.

Hello Anonymous, I bought this RAM in a bundle with mainboard and CPU in September (2x8GB), last week I bought 2x8GB again. Unfortunately the RAM do not work together. The article number here is the same. The designation on the RAM itself differs and is incompatible. Only 1(sept) 1(new) fails. Of course, board firmware updated, bios reset etc. already done.
