Hello, I personally use the "be quiet! Pure Rock 2" fan and I'm very happy with it.
It seems to me that it already has a thermal pad applied.
But otherwise I use the "Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut" paste which has never failed me.

PS: After that it depends on the type of case, you have to make sure that the ventirad fits well inside, they're quite massive.
